Born to a Cherokee/Welsh mother and a Mexican/Navajo father, with an Arabic last name, Jonathan Almanzar had to create his own origin story. Before screenwriting, he was a prison guard, farm hand, steelworker, fast food founder and CEO - and still had to take Algebra II twice. He writes dark comedy, because sometimes the deepest truths slip out easier when you’re laughing through the pain.
Jonathan takes story seriously: training, rewriting, and sharpening every script like it’s the only shot he’ll get. His scripts have placed in multiple contests.
After COVID toppled the International fast-food brand he’d built from scratch, Jonathan discovered the power of inspiring others through story. The universe distributes talent equally but not opportunity —so he writes to remind people not to wait for their chance, but to create it…and why he still refuses to do long division.

Born and bred in Fort Lauderdale, Daniel Morris feels as rare a find in South Florida as a true Angeleno in Los Angeles.
He honed his craft through two decades spanning FSU Film School, learning the studio system at Conundrum Entertainment (the Farrelly Bros. & Bradley Thomas), and developing original IP at Mpower Pictures (Steve McEveety).
Daniel has additionally experienced the joy that is corporate America as a copywriter for a luxury cruise line, while dabbling in entrepreneurship along the way. But his most recent education came through becoming a single father in 2020, navigating faith vs. hypocrisy in the church, and being intimately reminded that the most impactful stories often emerge from life’s most painful moments.
Most recently, he and his writing partner Jonathan have written multiple projects - all of which have placed as quarterfinalists or better across various competitions, placing them in the top 1% of writers on Coverfly in 2025…right before they shut it down. He loves the comedic and the dramatic. All the -ics, really. And exploring the seemingly contradictory aspects of life.
